The Seattle Seahawks engineered a stunning comeback to overcome the Los Angeles Rams in overtime, securing their spot in the postseason.
Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the fourth quarter, the Seahawks triumphed 38-37 at home, registering their fifth straight win.
While the Los Angeles had already secured a post-season berth earlier on Sunday, the Seattle team secured their place to the play-offs after a two-year absence.
With this result, the Seahawks have taken over their division's race with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Rams, who fell to the fifth playoff position with an 11-4 standing.
Game Recap
Quarterback Darnold had two interceptions but regrouped to deliver two scoring throws, including the tying TD to star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in overtime.
The visitors held a 13-7 advantage at half-time before Walker burst through for a 55-yard scoring dash for the home side.
Los Angeles cornerback Wallace then took back Darnold's first pick for a big return, setting up a short score by Corum on the ensuing snap.
In the final stanza, a touchdown from Stafford to Puka Nacua extended the advantage to 30-14, but Rashid Shaheed ignited the hope with a spectacular return for a score.
Darnold then connected with Barner in the end zone, and a successful conversion sent the game into overtime.
Although Nacua raced in for his another TD in OT, Smith-Njigba responded in kind to setup the game-winning conversion.
